aenoic made a glib remark in jest. GP and others didnt know it was a joke, so he made an introductory post.

The joke implied familiarity to the social circle that is the SydLexia.com Forums. I actually thought that aenoic was a second account for someone already on the boards since I had never seen him post before and saw he was discussing people who were known within this community. That is why I asked who he was. It has been cleared up that he is new and just has an interesting sense of humor.

Hawk, did you get your Moderator's Pin for your army jacket? (What would happen if you wore a non-standard pin on your formal jacket?)

^ :lol !!! I would pay serious, serious money for a Mod badge. That would be absolutely epic! I would so wear that, although not on my actual uniform.
I'm actually not entirely sure what would happen if you wore something non-standard on your uni. As long as it wasn't a Stolen Valor issue (i.e. wearing actual military badges/medals you did not earn, which rates things like court marshals and Ft. Leavenworth time in an officer) I assume the penalty would be a dressing down and probably a lot of push-ups and/or a shitty detail until your OIC forgot about it.

You just need to place the pin under your collar. So you can flip up your collar to reveal the hidden pin. You know, like a secret society or something.

The event that caused my computer to crash...I usually don't get upset at people on a forum, but that was the only time I was on here.
