Wouldn't shock me to hear Americans boo the American national anthem at a sporting event, honestly.

Nice.
It puts me to sleep on tv, but it is pretty cool in person.

They fucking booed EVERY other national anthem played here in Brazil during the Pan-american games two years ago. Needless to say, except Brazil's own anthem.
One more reason I despise so much many people here.

Also, the Montreal Canadien Fans have booed the American National Anthem before....just sayin. |
Yeah, Canadiens fans can be total assholes sometimes. The announcers kept talking how shameful pulling out that kind of shit was during the first intermission.
Then everybody forgot about it when some random vandals decided to start a riot to "celebrate" the Canadiens victory, even though they weren't even at the fucking game.
Did I mention I fucking hate Montreal as a city? The Nordiques should just come back already (this is not too far off actually, if the NHL ever shows any interest that is).

To be fair, that'd probably only happen in Philadelphia. Those people boo'd Santa Claus for God sake.

It pisses me off so bad when like yesterday, the NFL or whoever decide to put only two games on for the whole day. I mean we usually get a doubleheader on one channel or the other and rightfully we should get 4 games, it's Sunday c'mon. I know they have the regional bullshit and everything, but who cares. Is Fox really going to get more viewers for Bullriding than any NFL game.

NFL Scheduling sucks, but I am sure it is due to deals with the TV Stations. I think that each channel gets a few exclusive times...it is wicked dumb....BUT, did you hear that cable has a Redzone Channel now? It costs like $50 and whenever a team is in the redzone they throw that game on, then they jumped to the next redzone shot from a different game. SOLID GOLD

Sunday Ticket is absolutely worth it. I had it when I lived in Florida and I got it for week 1 because it was free. All I gotta say is 8 games-1 channel, plus, stats on demand. How much is the half season? I think it's like 250 for the year right?

I was just going to say, if you are an NFL fan and don't have sunday ticket, then you're doing it wrong. You can watch any game you want while recording another, and never have to worry about blackouts or retarded TV scheduling.

NHL referees who can call almost every hooking penalties happening, but fail to see numerous high-sticks and checks to the head or in the back.

There's this brazilian driver who drove for the Renault team in Formula One. Last year he got himself involved in an accident and this year he revealed his accident was intentional in order to give his teammate the victory in that particular Grand Prix. As a result, his bosses were heavily punished by FIA (International Motorsport Federation, no less): one was suspended for 5 years and the other was banned for life from any motorsport event sanctioned by FIA. About the driver? Though he was fired earlier this season, he wasn't punished. He's even making a big fuss about all that jazz. I do believe he should've been punished in any sort of way for being part of the whole hoax.

He can't be punished. The FIA gave him immunity in exchange for his testimony.
Personnally, I feel like he was threatened some way or other (getting fired etc.). I don't know why he would possibly risk his life on purpose by crashing in a wall otherwise.

and another losing season for the Raiders.
@ blkplaguelmc: i dont recall exactly how much the 1/2 season sunday ticket is, but it is considerably cheaper than the full season. and if the raiders were having a winning season, then we might get the full season. but alas.

That pisses me off too because I bet $20 with a friend that they would go at least 8-8 this year, and after almost beating San Diego I was feeling pretty confident in that bet.

I hate when the fucking umps can only review certain plays. I'm by no means a Twins fan, in fact I really don't like them at all. But they called a foul ball, WHEN IT WAS CLEARLY FUCKIN FAIR! It's shit like this that makes me hate baseball at times. Oh and the Yankees won, whoopity fuckin doo!

Yeah, that play was outrageous considering where the ump was on the play.

Throwing the flag and saying it was a taunting penalty. Even though the flag was thrown before the play was over and any type of taunting took place.

He threw the flag for pass interference (which was picked up). He didn't exactly have a second flag to throw down for the taunting that clearly happened immediately afterward.
