Anybody here recognize the awesomeness of this game? I picked up the latest version (Battleground) as soon as I saw it, last year sometime. I've been wanting this goddamn game since I played with my older cousins' original C&C back in the late 80's. Then my aunt donated it to charity and I was sad for approximately the next 20 years. I didn't get Weapons & Warriors for xmas when that game came out either, but I hear that one sucked anyway. Anyway, now that I'm older with a good paying job, and having no shame in purchasing a children's game, I couldn't let this opportunity escape. But now, I can't convince anyone to play it with me, so I'm stuck playing against the dog. Even though he cheats rather consistently, I suppose the story has a happy ending (Not in the Asian massage parlor kind of way, though. Or in the Friendly's way. Those are both awesome, however, but I digress.). Any more love for the projectile-launching goodness?

I have this game sitting in my office right now. Original box & everything.

I loved playing this game as a kid.

My Dad once built a cross bow out of a long bow and a rifle stock he carved out of a log, the string was held by a deadbolt, unlocking the door fired it. It shot through our garage into the living room. The cops confiscated it when he died. Mad

Why? Did it ever harm/kill anyone?

Nobody got hurt besides the garage wall. They took it because it was "dangerous" Rolling Eyes
