For me:
Magic the Gathering:
Boldwyr Heavyweights from the MtG set Morningtide.
My Izzet Gizmometry deck, with some cards added as to provide me with some devastating combos only legal in casual play (Volcanic Hammer/Lightning Bolt + Izzet Guildmage FTW).
Arcanis the Omnipotent from 10th Edition - My HeXen namesake; where I got my former signature.

Darth Vader from the original 1995 Decipher Star Wars CCG. It took me so damn long to finally get that card in a pack. I have it in a card frame.
Also the foil version of the card I mentioned above from the Star Wars CCG Reflections series which was packs with cards from each card series up to that point. The Vader and Luke Skywalker foils were the rarest in that set. I have the foil Vader framed as well.

Magic stuff:
* I used to have a foil version of Foil. Not really valuable except for the priceless comedic value.
* I had a misprinted Words of Worship that had a weird clipped border.
Heroclix I used to have both Nightcrawler (the Unique first one if they ever redid him) and the LE Doombot "Doctor Doom."
WoW TCG:
Destiny, the dragon child, and the Night Elf chick that lets you do a literal spirit bomb if enough Night Elves die.

I have a ST:TNG collectable card, that I got signed by Brannon Braga and Ronald D Moore, when they were both just writers for TNG, before they became executive producers and help create ST:DS9, ST:Voyager, and Enterprise.

Magic:
A Killer Bees from 4th edition where both the front and back of the card where printed on the same side, so they images overlap and the other side of the card is blank. (Had 4 cards like this total, but sold the other 3)
A blank card that I pulled in a box of Guildpact that I bought. There should have been an uncommon foil card, but instead there was a card with a Magic back on one side, and the other side was blank except for a black border.
My ridiculous collection of foils and lands (40x dual lands, shock lands, pain lands, 20x fetch lands, etc. etc., foil Dark Ritual, Misdirection, Serra Avatar, Vampiric Tutor, etc. etc.)
Formerly my Black Lotus, but I sadly had to sell it.

I still need that Sarkhan Vol, Zarak. Of course, it's come down in value greatly since you traded for it, so I can't see you being eager to trade it away.

I know enough about Magic to know that a Black Lotus is effing cool...what made you have to get rid of it? (If you don't mind me asking. I'm just curious what could force such a Magic afficianto to part with a card like that.)

They are not card game cards but they are still collectable cards(hockey), either my Mike Richards The Cup Rookie Card or my Sidney Crosby Upper Deck Young Gun Rookie Card, both have a book value of $350.

My girlfriend and I met when we were in college in Miami, but neither of us were from there so it became a long distance relationship for a couple years. The lotus paid for a round trip plane ticket, hotel room, and all my other expenses actually so I could go see her one Thanksgiving. (I had been saving money for when she came out here for Christmas, but I needed to sell the card in order to afford both).

Awww. Well at least it went to a good cause. Very romantic of you, Jeebus--I hope she appreciated the sacrifice.
Btw, that card you were looking for...the Sarkhan Vol you said it was? Is that something that could be found in a trading card/comic shop for a fairly reasonable price? I frequent a couple of those places and would be happy to keep an eye out, if there was a chance I could pick one up. Long as you were willing to pay me the cost of the card, I'd be happy to send it to you if I can find it. *shrug*

Oh believe me, Jeebus has no problem finding and buying cards he wants; he just wants my Sarhkan because it's more convenient to try to wheedle it off me than by combing stores and the internet. And I won't trade it to him because he already has about two million cards, most of which the majority of casual players have never seen in their lives. Or remember exist.

Well I also want it because foil mythic rares are a pain in the ass to find. I don't have any foil mythics from Shards and will probably give up on that and just do the foil Conflux set.
Sadly, now that I don't get to play cards pretty much ever it's hard for me to build foil sets. I don't even have a full non-foil Shards set yet

Oh boo hoo! Jeebus can't build foil sets anymore! You know how many foil sets I have? None! Because I can't be spending ridiculous amounts of money on a foil of every card ever!
That money's for Transformers...

Yeah, Jeebus will teach you all the cheap cards that make people hate playing against you and I'll teach you the story. Well, the parts of the story that aren't retarded...

I think an intro to Magic article by the both of you would be some good reading. I've always wanted to get into it, but the only person I knew who played it can't teach worth a damn.

Well, I think either of us doing it on our own might work (or if I wrote it and Jeebus checked and made slight corrections in rules related ways), but the two us attempting to write it together? One of us would probably end up dead.
I've tried teaching a couple people, but they didn't care enough to stick with it.

The person teaching me kept noticing new decks he could build, and telling me to hold on while he built them.

Could I budge in?
Hypnotic Specter
Izzet Guildmage
Power Sink
Power Drain
Power Leak
Psychic Venom
Armageddon + Dingus Egg
Icy Manipulator + Royal Assassin
Izzet Chronarch
That's all I can think of for now.
