I know we mostly talk about fiction here, but has anyone else read this? I find it to be one of the best interpretations of the US Constitution and how it should be used.

I thought he only wrote one book? I'll look into this one.

I own his "Sliding Towards Gomorrah", and liked it a lot. That one has a lot about liberty vs. equality, and our social problems.

Edit:

Amazon lists six books of his, boy was I wrong. He's been somewhat prolific.

I believe Tempting was his first book after the railroad job on his Supreme Court nomination.

Ah, ok. My high school US History teacher recommended the Sliding Towards Gomorrah book when it came out in '96 or so, and I just never bothered to see if he had written anything else before that or since then - in spite of how much I enjoyed the book.

His knowledge of the Constitution is certainly excellent, especially when compared to some judges who were able to get on the Supreme Court...
