Seriously, I was interested in reading some Superman so I picked up one of these in a Borders and its a TERRIFIC investment. 550 pages of old fashioned Superman. For 10 bucks!

Even if you are a hardcore fiend of super colorized, weird, no-name "I have no friends and I collect comics" comics, this shit will be good bathroom fodder.

I got the DC vault. I highly recommend that as well, if you're interested in the history of comic books.

Yes. DC showcases are a great buy. Like $7 for 500 some? Good stuff that is too damn expensive otherwise. One of mu favorite comic "purchases" was the Booster Gold Showcase. I love BG and was given it free. Sigh. Good times.

Yes. Right. buy the Showcases. Most of the time they go on sale around the time of a movie or something, so at Walden we sell them for... half price?

I got the Marvel Encyclopedia the other day instead while up at B&N. Its fantastic and so informative, not to mention all the illustrations are incredible. Good bathroom fodder as well.
