Did anyone have the Toxie action figure? I did. I don't remember anything about the show, but I don't think anyone else does either. Normally I'd use this opportunity as a segue to an article I just put up, but then I'd have to mod myself for pimping my own site outside the OPP forum.

I remember part of the theme song from the show/action figure commercial.

Wait, was this based on the film franchise involving murder and mayhem? And by based, I mean spinoff of concept and kid friendly?

Yes, yes it is. I wish it were a more common trend to spinoff Troma films into kids shows, I want to see Cannibal! The Animated Series.

Child friendly Troma-ville franchise seems weird, thinking anyone at the meeting where they decided this was a good idea saw the Toxic Crusader movies? I had a couple of these when I was lower case and I am a fan of the movies. But was it a good idea really??

Probably not. But I remember these action figures. The neighbor kids had a bunch of them. We used to string together a bunch of rubber bands, tie one end to the ceiling fan and an action figure on the other and swing them around the room haha. And yeah Val, I specifically remember the Toxie one.

Well someone decided to make kids cartoons and toys based off of Rambo and Robocop, which were both gory R-Rated films. Why not troma?

God, I miss the Regan era. We got toy guns and GI Joes, and it was perfectly okay to pretend to kill each other. Nowadays, kids are pussies, and parents freak out over everything.
