These would look nice on my desk.

On a side note, my friend had some old copies of Sonic the Comic lying around. I took to reading some, and I must say that they were so stupid and confusing that they temporarily lowered my intelligence. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the storyline of Shadow the Hedgehog was better written and made more sense than this stuff, and that game is about a clone Hedgehog/alien using a handgun.

You're talking about the UK Sonic the Hedgehog comics right? Yeah, I never really got into them when I was younger, but I'm still sticking with Archie's series. It's had its ups and downs, but right now they're pretty consistent with the quality of writing and art.

Hopefully First4Figures releases more stuff like this, the quality of their sculpting and painting easily surpasses McFarlane now... It's just the damn price.

The Archie Sonic Comic's were pretty good, I used to read and collect the shit out of those.

I remember the old-school Sonic too. I have most of his games, a bunch of the comic books, including episode 50, and some random Sonic toys.

Also, didn't Sonic wear shoes without the belt buckle on it?

Sonics buckles came and went. Early sonic did not have a buckle.
Later on he did.
His shoes changed again in SA1 and changed every appearance after that.

mmmmm it really wasn't til SA1 when i recall him wearing the buckle at all.

I'm pretty sure if the original creators of Sonic the Hedgehog and the creators of the cartoon ever met, they would fight to the death. His eating of Chili dogs were a cute attempt at making Sonic a character who preteens could relate to, and it was not funny, nor was it cute. Goddamn. It was like making Slimer a good guy.

Hey, excuuuuuuuuuuuse ME, Princess!

Seriously though, what would you want out of a Sonic cartoon series? The game was about a fast blue hedgehog that jumped on robots. You either start adding some layers (and characters!) or just show gameplay footage.

It is not supposed to be funny, you have to eat to live it part of everyday life, and I hope to god you are not ragging on chili dogs for they are incredible. Slimer was more or less a good guy from the get go.
