Thoughts: WOW! Now our fearless detective and his inanimate friends are hiding, just like we were fucking told they would on the last page. If I was reading this book to a small child, I might take this time to point out the onimous shadow on the floor as well as our hiding heroes. I also might point at some of the jars and say what scent they contain. The visible jars include scent of skunk, scent of lime, scent of canary, scent of yellow radishes, scent of blue flowery thing, scent of red hearts, scent of pointy things, and scent of dog turds. I must say, the jar with the hearts on it is rather unnerving. I don't remember hearts ever having a specific smell, so maybe this Nose Monster is more psychotic than Kevin and his friends ever guessed. Or maybe Miss Eldridge is a shitty artist and she was trying to draw something else.
