Wow, I had not heard this yet but apparently they are making a new live-action Ninja Turtles movie that is slated for 2011. Also, they are having an open casting call for foot-clan soldiers, people in the area should try out haha.

Anyways, I have been waiting on new live-action TMNT forever and can't wait for more developments.

as long as the costumes look as genuine as they did in the first live action movie or better and not some CGI bull crap fest them i'm in. Course, what 'live action' movie hasn't been a CGI fest lately.

And can they finally get someone hot to play April?
Watching the cartoon in the 80's, I wanted to fap to her before I knew what fapping was.

This can either be great or awful, however TMNTIII leaves a vacuum open for anything to be better than it at least....hopefully.

Peggy Turok or however you spell her name was hot for 90's standard hotness. I would have plugged any hole she had.

Paige Turco, yeah she was hot in an Aunt Becky sort of way.
As for the original April, I thought she was sexy, but not hot per say. I believe she was a good casting call because my real life babysitter as a child was sort of like her and she embodied the early 90's young woman.

The CGI movie was awesome, and I remember being taken TMNTIII in theatres as a toddler and sleeping.
Hope this is good.

I wish I lived in L.A. It'd be fun to be beat up by a ninja turtle for the camera. Plus, I could make those jokes about The Foot with "real life" experience

I agree, as much shit as people gave the CGI movie, I thought it was pretty good.
The story was engaging, the battle scenes were impressive and it truly had that TMNT feel (despite not having the "look" many fanboys were anticipating).

Yeah, it wasn't all that bad. I realy hated the look of Splinter, though. He's my favorite character, and while the turtles looked good, Splinter was just...no. I liked him better in the 90s live action movies and the cartoon. (I think the cartoon did his look and voice best, while the live action movies handed his character the best.) Hopefully this new one will go more in that direction.

Good call, I thought his characterization was superior in the original movies, he was very wise and took no shit.

Exactly. In my mind, the greatest Splinter moments are 1) standing up to Shredder after being captured in TMNT 1, putting Dr. Perry at ease in Secret of the Ooze (its a very low-key scene, but it really speaks to how kind and empathetic he is), and of course trying to calm Raph down in TMNT 1.
His Crowning Moment of Awesome, though, is of course in Secret of the Ooze...Mutual Splinter Insurance .

Good call again, ironically, despite being a rat, Master Splinter is very aware of and sympathetic to the human condition.
This is further evidenced by how he is able to calm down/his relationship with April O'Neal.
