Your SydLexia.com forum name is supposed to be permanent, and barring that, a name change should be permanent. The "Super Obama" joke would have gotten old, and pretty much would have guaranteed a future name change.
Also, it would have been trolling, regardless of the intent. If the "Super Obama" motif made fun of President Barack's messianic treatment by the media, liberals on the forums would have eventually gotten pissed off. If it embraced him as a messiah, the conservatives on the forum would have eventually gotten pissed off. It was a very ill-conceived idea, and I was not going to open the door for joke name changes.

"UsaSatsui" is actually an "IRC shortening/nick change". From a long long time ago, but still. It was "Usagi Satsui" but was shortened to fit the 9-letter name limit on Undernet.

You get a pass because "UsaSatsui" was your name when you first got here. When someone's on a forum such as this for a certain amount of time, then up and changes their names out of nowhere because they found some oh-so-cool (my ass) new name they use on IRC, it annoys and alienates people, including me.
