Good but long. Action parts were longer than I expected, and there was less cat-and-mouse than I was expecting. I'd watch it again on TV with commercial breaks but I dunno that I'd drop another $9 on it.

It was good, but it felt rushed. Also missing back story, too. I didn't need Dillinger growing up on the farm, but a little bit more of an explanation of why Dillinger did what he did and why the public loved him and whatnot would have been fantastic. Also pretty accurate, and they managed to keep the inaccuracies to a minimum. Depp was amazing and Bale managed to keep his bat-voice down and gave a solid performance. I loved the girl who played Billie. **1/2 stars.

I agree it was good, but long.

I didn't buy Christina Bale's accident but believed Johnny Depp's. Also, they get a bonus 0.5 points for making a Depp movie without Helen Bohnam Carter.
