This has nothing to do with the topic on the board, but with the title of that particular thread, and it got me to thinking.
Obviously since Syd named the website and board after his chosen moniker, and that's how he's addressed, it's basically common sense that that's how you'd address users on his board. (One also wonders how you'd address users of cracked.com. Crackers? Crackheads?)
Syd strikes me as a down to earth kind of guy, so this makes me wonder- how do you feel about being adjectived? Your username is being used to describe a group. I think I'd be kind of weirded out in a flattered way if I had a group of Undeadheads or something.
Along those lines, a joke from an old issue of MAD magazine: "If Grateful Dead fans are called Deadheads, then New Kids on the Block fans must be Blockheads!", followed by MAD's editorial response, "What do you call Dick Tracy fans?"

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

The wiki refers to "all things Lexian", so Lexian or SydLexian as an adjective is fine with me. But I always thought of you guys as SydLexics.

I always thought it'd be cool if my fans were called Riflemen or something. Then I realized that that was really gay.

I, too, thought that term to be more appropriate.

I would prefer sydlexian as the adjective for all things awesomely late 80's early 90's nostalgic, so as not to get us confused with the Lexx fans.
Sydlexics makes a good deal of sense, with a secondary vote for Sydlexicans.

I prefer SydLekker to SydLekkie, thank you very much.
Seriously, though, SydLexians, SydLexics, SydLexicans, Pop Culture Junkies, whatever. Anything's fine by me (except for SydLexiaddicts).

"Sydlexics" weirds me out a lot less than "Sydlexian" does.

Sydlexians sounds like the spawn of some evil genetic experiment involving Syd's genes spliced with something dangerous like bears or sharks or rocket propelled chainsaws.

If he was a shark Syd hybrid, then he would have been able to scarf down more than three of those cookies.
Also, we have to be careful that any crossgenetic mutations let him keep some sort of opposable digit, so that he can play classic games. The minimum acceptable is ninja turtle hands, so he can go at least up to the SNES era.
