The Novint Falcon is an interesting new way to control games. It is a force feedback system that allows for a different type of gameplay experience.

The video really explains it best.

Personally I think this is a great idea and looks like a good opportunity for PC gaming to remain a viable option against consoles. Unfortunately at its suggested retail price of $189.99 it is never going to make it. My feeling is that they need to get the price down to about $49.99 to be competitive. Seeing as how that is not even close to their opening price, I am going to go ahead and doom this product to never becoming a mainstream option.

Also of note, they say it works in the game Gish... what the fuck... a game stole my name? http://home.novint.com/games/games_list.php?id=124

Currently on Sale for $150:

This looks very badass and I would love to mess around with it.

It appears to be such a visceral experience, the part where it blows the gun the opposite way of explosions was crazy.

I agree, but since they have to license games to make this work, they will never have all of the games you enjoy. This means that you will spend $150 - $200 on equipment that will probably frustrate you at one point or another.

The price is just so damn expensive for a mouse alternative.

Dear god...

After reading the description of a fleshlight and seeing the Novint Falcon reviewed, I am convinced it is a very good way to snap your dick off.
