Just curious if anyone here has an MTGO account. If so, post your screenname here.
I'm Dr_Jeebus, of course. Oh, and go buy a Momir Vig avatar cause Momir Basic is awesome!

I used to play Online, but then I found out you and Syd and Spanky and Plethora played IRL so my account became null. And like I said; I remember neither my account name nor my password at this point.

I had an MTGO account about 2 years ago, haven't used it in a long time, though... As with BZ, I have no clue what my account or password are onymore. I tried to download MTGO 2, but Vista hated it... I suppose I'll have to give MTGO 3 a try.

And it might take a bit of digging, but I know I found a site that's made to let you play Momir Basic in real life.

I have an account but havent really done anything with it other than buy boosters on occasion to see about fleshing out my Conflux set that I'm building. I figure I'll start getting alot more use out of it once I move to Alaska and have nobody to actually play with.
My user name is either Asmodeous or Asmodeous667.

You COULD also download Apprentice. By default, it plays MTG and you can patch it for other card games. For net games, it's as simple as getting your opponent's IP and calling/answering. THe reason you can patch is because there's no rules engine.

And Asmodeus, where in Alaska will you be? If you're around Kenai/Soldotna, I'll be pretty close to you.

I'll be moving up to Fairbanks. My girlfriend is starting in the fall at the university for her masters and I should be starting in the spring for my bachelors degree.

I downloaded MTGO 3, but can't for the life of me remember my account name or password... Anyone know any ways of retrieving them? The button right on the program requires my account name as well as my email. ...Though, come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I deleted the email account that I signed up with...

I might start. I downloaded the 360 game, and I seem to be getting the hang of it. I'd definitely get destroyed by anyone at this point, but at least I know the basics.

I've been playing the 360 Game as well. It's alright and I was mulling over starting an account and buying a few boosters or something. Can you still do like 2V2 matches and stuff like that on MTGO3 or anything like that. If so I really think I'd go for it and get some local chums to sign up too. Now that I've got a few bucks that are burning holes in my posket.

I played it about 5 years ago, and I could never get past the whole paying for virtual cards thing that you can only get in RL if you collect the entire set. I'd rather just buy the real cards so they can always be resold and play with friends rather than strangers.

I activated, Got the 10th ed. White Deck cause I kinda liked the white on 360, and 5 boosters. Opened up the first one and my rare was Phage the Untouchable.... probably a sucky card, but I was happy about it. Just four more now to be let down by.

I wouldn't recommend just straight opening booster packs. You're much better off drafting, especially since there are many drafts that don't even require tix so it's just the cost of the packs. That way you get the fun of playing and can potentially win packs as well. I'd recommend swiss drafts if you're new, as that gives you a much better chance of winning something.

Oh, and you should seriously get the Momir Vig vanguard card. It's like 7 or 8 tix, but it's the only thing you need (aside from basic land which are in y our starter pack that the account comes with) to play Momir Basic, which is the greatest format ever!!

I used to play MTGO all the time. I drafted at least once a night and did a sealed every now and then. I have a Momir vanguard becaue I got it from the DIS online release.

ANyway, I hate the new magic rules. So I don't play anymore. And it got expensive.

Maybe I should have said not to reply to the thread if you didn't have an account that you remember and still use. Rolling Eyes
