I think he doesn't want to see anyone else do what he once did: beat the WWE. If TNA got a higher TV rating then RAW, then it might shatter Eric's fragile little ego. |
I think it would boost it actually. He was in charge when Jeff Jarret, and all those WCW guys were around that are now prominent in TNA. If anything he should have taught them something. I think he would be proud to see WWE get tossed aside again. They are showing some promise with the Man Event Mafia, but being cableless I haven't see what's been going on recently.

There was a draft last night... the reason, I absolutely don't know, but here are the draftees:
To RAW: Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, Mark Henry, Gail Kim and Alicia Fox.
To SmackDown: Matt Hardy, Finlay and the new Hart Foundation (DH Smith, Tyson Kidd and Natalya)
To ECW: Shelton Benjamin, Goldust, the Bella twins and William Regal.

I have to say, I am very happy to see Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger go to RAW, they're both easily my favorite newer wrestlers in a while. I always thought RAW also needed more Heels in the main event tier, it's Orton vs. Triple H, Batista, Cena, HBK, and now it seems MVP for God's sake.

(We should just rename this the "WWE Raw Discussion Thread")
Is it just me, or was The Million Dollar Man awesome last night as the Guest Host. I think after they run out of ideas for guests, they should have him come back full time as GM. I missed him on the mike, he really hasn't lost a step, and would be great in the role.

Something tells me, they'll bring in Dusty Rhodes next, or maybe it's the Hamburglar.

They should get Ted Turner for a night. He can come out and declare, "Hey Vince, I'm back in the Wrasslin' business again!". That would be epic.

I don't think anyone has the power to "get" Ted Turner. However, it is within Ted Turner's power to get whatever the fuck he wants.

Ted Turner would never do it. He was pissed off when Time Warner cancelled the WCW, and even more pissed when they sold it Vince McMahon.
Actually, Ted Turner MIGHT do it. But only if it was done similar to the Trump angle and Vince repeatedly jobbed himself out to Turner.

If they did an entire episode of RAW in Robot Chicken style with only footage of wrasslin' figures, that would be the single greatest thing in the history of television.
Instead, I expect to read about Seth Green being RKOed or something. Yawn.

Haha, and also better than anything WWE has showed or done in 6 years.
They can keep Mickie's matches real though

They should have Hogan come out with a bag of peas, and have him say "Brother! Who wants peas!?"

Some funny moments from last night's Raw, I liked Henry interrupting Jericho's "hypocrites" monologue.

Big Show's hand was bigger than his head, I think him and Hornswoggle could start a midget wrestling league.

I think it says something about the current state of the WWE, when the most entertaining moment last night was watching Santino playing with the action figures.
