I read an article today that I had to share with you guys. The only way it works though is if you answer the questions before you read it. So, follow these steps and then we'll discuss.
- Answer the following questions:
- Would you be willing to slap your father in the face, with his permission, as part of a comedy skit?
- Does it disgust you to touch the faucet in a public restroom?
- Read this article.
- Reply with your results and comments.

That's interesting however when asking myself the first question another popped up:
When in the history of my life would my father have the sense of humour to go along with a comedy skit? The answer is never, he'd never agree to a comedy skit therefore that would situation would never arise. If it did I'd be okay with it.
As for the second question I could care less. I agree with Carlin as far as germs go. If I am faced with something unsanitary I'll deal with it. The immune system needs practice and the only way that's going to happen is if I buck up and deal with it. I can wash my hands at a later point.

My dad would probably go along with it, but I could never full out slap him. I would perhaps be able to fake it, but never actually make any form of contact that would hurt him.
I am so odd with germs. I'll use a faucet if it looks generally clean, but I won't touch a public restroom's flushing handle with my hand. I kick it. Also after I wash my hands I always grab a paper towel and open the door with that. Also I always wipe down a public toilet before I use it. If it looks really bad I'll cover it with toilet paper. I am not so much concerned with germs in a public bathroom, it is viruses that concern me. Hepatitis is on the list of things I never want.
Am I liberal or conservative?
I wouldn't slap my dad outright so more conservative. I will use a faucet but am cautious in the bathroom, so more liberal. I figure I'm somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.

I'm politically neutral...I think. To be honest I don't really see things in the same manner as those who wrote the article. In every action their are a hundred subtleties that can occur, making a statement so black-and-white seems a little silly. I don't like confrontation however you have to be honest with yourself. I honestly think that half the stuff that goes down in politics (probably more) isn't told to us. I'm not a full-blown conspiracy nut however their is so much room for secrecy that it wouldn't be surprising to me if the actual situation is completely different from what it seems. I don't have any foundation for such claims I just don't think I can trust what's told to me by people who have a degree of control over the media. Sounds pretty silly when I actually type it out.
I'm getting off-topic though. I don't think I could slap my father because he'd probably do the same to me at an inconvenient time for me later down the line. At the same time I could care less if I touched a dirty faucet because I could always wash my hands at a later point.

I guess I'm liberal on both counts. I'm not a strong man so it's not like the slap would hurt. And I feel you are more likely to get germs from handling change then from faucets since they aren't washed with water and soap throughout the day.

Good on number one, not so good on number two, which somehow makes me a libertarian. Interesting.

I guess I am a liberal. Well according to this. Very interesting, although I don't associate with any specific political group.

According to the test, I'm a liberal. However, although I agree with liberal ideology more, the conservatives tend to run things a little more efficiently.

So I'm "yes" on the first question and "yes" on the second, so what does that make me? Moderate?

Yep, worked on me. Yes on one, no on two, and I identify as liberal if someone asks. Weird and yet interesting.

I'd slap my father because he's a bigoted, moronic hateful republican fucker.
Also no to the second so yeah.
