I think its a separate blog site. You have to create a log in and password for them. Semi-annoying I know, but it only takes a minute or two and is well worth it.

^ It would, but like I said, its honestly not that big a deal. I just use the same name/password combo for that site so there's very little confusion or hassle. After all the world you put into this site, I'm more than willing to type for thirty seconds to help support it lol.

Forums are on PHPbb2. Not going to happen until they are upgraded.

Also does it make more sense to link the news comments to the forum accounts or does it make more sense to link to something like facebook connect or open id?

PHPbb2 is version 2. It is older than version 3. Version 3 is the newest stable release. Version 4 is due out sometime at some point.

Dr. Jeebus,
Have Syd setup a Wordpress instance for you. Migrating the articles will be your job, making it look like your current site will be my job. It will take me about a month or so to get it "acceptable" and it will take about 3 to make it what you would call "perfect" for the moment.
