IT'S HERE. Pokemon rumble is here! This is the game I've wanted since my first Pokemon game! For the uninitiated: It plays like a 3d pokemon: Mystery dungeon in that you play as a pokemon from a top down view instead of a trainer, but Rumble is different as it's the first game in the series (besides smash bros) to feature REAAAL TIIIME COOOOMBAT! So you travel about different areas, filled with enemy pokemon and bosses to fight. Every time you beat an enemy, there's a small chance it will become unconscious instead of disappearing, allowing you to capture it. You can switch out between pokemon in real time, and can hold waaay more than 6. The whole game takes on an original Smash Bros. feel in that the pokemon are wind up toys. Your lives take the form of wind up keys. You get 3 faints and back to start. (I think. I'm not 100% sure on how the keys mechanic works.) There isn't much in the way of story, there is a tournament called "the battle royale" which all the pokemon want to get into, but only high level pokemon can enter. You spend the first part of the game (and all of the demo) getting a strong enough pokemon to enter. I haven't gotten the full game yet, as I'm short on wii points, but it's only $15, so the price is a plus. one last thing: Hooray! The Pokemon use their calls from the gameboy games instead of saying their names! Yay! So, opinions/expectations?
