Is there a way to save and/or convert streaming media into say an .avi file? I want to be able to save/convert this video into a .avi file so I can have a hard copy of it to backup:

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I was able to save your video using this:

http://www.orbitdownloader.com/

It saves them as an flv file, but there are plenty of free programs that can convert flv files to avi files.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I've used Flash to AVI converters before so that won't be an issue. Thanks again.

After you download it, just click Grab++ under options. After that go to the url you posted and wait for the video to start. Once it does just click and download the file called as5210swg_G4750_flv.flv.

Thanks hacker, I use VDownloader for YouTube stuff because it can convert into a ton of formats, .AVI, MPEG 4, MP3 and so on.
