I came to post this and you beat me to it.
The guy's a professional animator. As awesome as the video is, there's no actual game behind it. It's all just an animation.
But he did say "someday, hopefully!" in the comments, so we never know.

Wow, I was surprised how well done the coop was. It wasn't simply tacked on, but it was more thought out.
The little "puzzle" parts where they would split up are brilliantly done. Coop seems to work better than I would have anticipated.

New game or no I've wanted to play old-school Mega co-op since I was a kid. If he could someday make that vid a reality I'd be a really happy guy.
