If so, got a question -

So it's pretty tough to find work lately. But there's an air reserve base near here that's always hiring. The jobs appear to be general stuff like store clerk or whatever, but they all list "enlistment in the national guard" under the job requirements. Is this for security purposes, or is it to give them more people to go deploy to wherever?

Just seems somewhat misleading and I can't tell if it's me reading it wrong or what.
