I seek knowledge from a bigger MK geek than myself.

We went back up to Chicago for a couple hours on Saturday to shoot some pickups of the scene with the Pesina Bros. In the lounge area of their school, Daniel's got a pretty cool display of various MK memorabilia. Most of it was pretty obvious what it was, but one item completely baffled me: the "Mortal Kombat Kit", from Acclaim (see the square box in the lower-right corner):



It must have been some sort of promotion for the original MK for home systems, but the box gave me no other information, save for some screenshots of the game, a blurb about the game itself and the Mortal Monday promotion, and a note that "contents may vary."

Anybody have a clue what this is? I would have asked Daniel myself, but he wasn't there for filming since he didn't need to be there.
