Okay, how many of you can say

"yeah, i had to uses some concoction to hold the button down so i can get more lives or health or ammo or even finish that damn stage that lasted forever."

I've never played any of these games. The NES one looks like torture, the SNES one looks never ending (like an arcade, your only goal is to get a high score) and the SegaCD one i would probably play, for the music alone.

Thoughts?

I've played the SNES and Sega Cd versions. I've also played Terminator 2 by LJN and the T2 arcade game on SNES.

I played one on the Gameboy and it was essentially an arcade game, as far as I could tell it was one level and you don't actually beat the boss, you break his wepons down my shooting them then he only has one attack option wich you can block by shooting down the barallel. I got to the end and wanted to see if he ever died so when we went to do something i left it on with something over the shoot button, when I came back an hour and a half later I had the maximum 999999 points. I was terribly pissed that it only had one level but it was at the age where it didn't matter how good a game was, it was bought for you so you damn well played it.

I also played T2 arcade on the SNES, and that same game in its original form at the arcade YEARS ago. I also played Robocop vs. Terminator for SNES (I actually bought it a couple days ago).
