The third game from the guys behind ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. A very strong candidate to warrant buying a PS3.

Only recently have entry level blu-ray players dipped below the PS3 price point.

Wow...just wow. The buildings and the boy's clothes look a lot like the stuff from Ico. So do you think those two are connected? Were Ico and Shadow of the Colossus connected at all? Because I thought they were only spiritual successors and the stories weren't related at all.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were both nothing amazing, and I believe people overate them. There, I said it.

I have to agree with Ba'al here, Shadow of the Colossus isn't as good as people make it out to be. I personally thought it was a bit more than a little boring.

The main character of SotC is the ancestor to the guy from Ico

and I third the statement that SotC was overrated, I could never get into it. Still, I won't deny the game is pretty, as is this one

While I absolutely love Ico (and I'm sure SotC is the same for most people, I've never played it) it is a pretty weird game, and it's not one of the best. Still, there's just something about it. I just want to know more about this while world they've created.

Shadow of the Colossus's battles are absolutely amazing and epic, but the dreadfully boring in-between parts made them almost not worth it. Almost.

However, I have to disagree on Ico, I love that game.

As long as I didn't get lost, I found the wandering to be most satisfying. It gives you a sense of the land, and I respect their decision not to populate the world with mooks.

The boss battles are some of the most visually impressive and emotionally charged in any game, right up there with the end of Beyond Good and Evil.
