It's one of those movies where the commentary is actually better than the movie! Arnold = Priceless.

Still a damn fine film. Wink

This movie is basically what I would imagine a good dungeons and dragons movie to be. It has the right mix of fantasy stuff (giant snakes, seductive witches) and cool swordplay.

I like the final confrontation where Jame Earl Jones tries to reason with Arnold... big mistake!

On a similar note, one of my friends bought the movie "Total Recall" complete with commentary and said that it was damn funny.

If someone can find hilarious commentary for a third arnold classic, we develop a pattern.

I was sad that Conan didn't do the super spin around decapitation that Thulsa Doom had done to Conan's mom...ah well. It was still cool.

Jason Momoa crowned new 'Conan the Barbarian' over 'Twilight's' Kellan Lutz

That battle of the beefcake supreme over the title role in the new 'Conan the Barbarian' film finally has a victor. All hail Jason Momoa from 'Stargate Atlantis,' who vanquished 'Twilight's' own Kellan Lutz for the coveted role.

This movie has the best soundtrack of all time, IMO. The movie is good, but it's really the music that drives it. Hell, there's not really even that much dialog in the movie when you think about it. The story is told via narration and by the musical score.

I bought the soundtrack years ago, but lost it. Then it went out of print. I recently bought it again from some retailer in mint condition for $50. Completely worth it.

I was having trouble finding complete versions of the extended edition. The "normal" edition has 12 songs, I believe, but the extended version has 16 songs. I truly love this soundtrack though, so I don't regret paying the $50 for it.

When I was in Okinawa my friends and me would play the "Conan Drinking Game". Everytime he speaks you drink. Or if you want to get pissed, every time he makes a noise or grunt you drink.

Great Movie, makes me want to convert to Crominism, but I can't seem to solve the Riddle of Steel.

Steel isn't strong. Flesh is stronger. What is a sword, compared to the hand that weilds it?

I especially like the scene where Arnie kills a vulture with his mouth while being crucified.

Always made me giggle as a kid.

So yeah, new trailer:

Personally, I was hoping they'd make the movie about Conan's son. I don't see anything wrong with this, but nothing really struck me as engaging either.

it looks cool, but it shouldnt have the Conan named attached to it.

it should be called, Dreadlocked Barbarian : The Movie, or something to that effect
