I'm not sure if anyone here has read any of his other work, but Max Barry is a pretty good writer. His book Company is on par of dilbert hilarity (The main character is on payroll as Copier Paper)
So, with that said, his new Book Machineman came out. I'm looking forward to getting this book.
Has anyone else read any of his books?

I've used his Nation States website game that was part of his advertising campaign for Jennifer Government.

Never read any of his books before because they seemed anti-business. However, from your post, that book sounds more humor-based than commentary-based, so maybe I would like his stuff.

Huh, no, but I love Dilbert, and he sounds very good. Must put him on my list for my next library run, thanks for the tip!

I've read all his books and I really enjoyed them and I really felt like they are less anti-business and more humorous stories based on his business experience.
And it seems his new book is being done in serial form on his website

There are tones in some of Company that may make it seem like it's anti-business, but it's more of an ethical dillimea then anti-business. Company is more of the Comedy he wrote, while Jennifer Government is more of a action flick. Though in Jennifer Government, you can see that he kind of opposes large scale corporations that act as a government, but that's what makes the story for this one.
I've never read Syrup, but I want to and this new book seems promising.
