jonesing for the iphone 3g

So i've been wanting an Iphone for a while but between the fee for leaving my verizon contract early the hefty price of the 16 gig model I've been remiss to do so. however att has refurbished 16 gig iphones for 150.00 right now which would easily recoup the price of leaving my contract. Now heres the question, its largely thought that a new iphone is coming out in june/july, is it worth the price to wait or should i take advantage of the cheep rpice of the 3g and go for it. As far as I know the only major upgrades that are rumored so far is an HD screen and an updates camera. Thoughts and opinions, as always, appreciated.

I had a 8 gig iPhone 3g and I sold it on Craigslist for about 170 a few months back. The 16 gig for 150 is a good price.


edit, 150 for non 3g isnt good price.

I'm still rocking the original 8 GB model that uses Edge instead of 3G, and I still love it. I do wish I had 3G though, cuz Edge is fucking slow.

I'd say wait until more details are available on the new iPhone. Sprint keeps promoting that they have a 4G network coming, and it's possible that the new iPhone will also support 4G.

Speaking of Sprint, HOW FUCKING ANNOYING are the currentSprint commercials? "One million people just twittered on Twitter; 26% of you watching have no idea what that means." STFU, Sprint, you're not clever, and you're hardly on the cutting edge of technology. Every time I see those commercials, I want to kill someone. A lot.
