I believe the busiest week ever was when my Simpsons articles came out and were linked a bunch of places, which coincidentally was the same week that the top 100 SNES games was published on a big site like cracked or something. That soundsli ke the right time, but the broken computer won't let me double check.

These statistics don't include any subdomains, just the main site. Since the news section is now off the main site, it is unlikely 2009 will top 2008 in terms of busy-ness.
