If this is real, Shinji doesn't look emo enough, but otherwise looks like it'll be a decent-ish adaptation.

And even if it isn't we still have the Rebuild of Evangelion movies to look forward to.

I figure posting it April 1st was a clue, especially with the '08 release at the end.

true, true. I realise I'm an idiot, but whatever.

Watched the first Rebuild of Evangelion movie (yay for fansubbers) a few days ago. If you've never watched Evangelion before, it does a good enough job of explaining the basic plot of Evangelion in circa 90 minutes.

Are they EVER going to make a live action Eva? I remember there was some awesome production art done by Weta years ago but I never heard anything about it ever again.

I'd rather a live action Evangelion is never made. I just don't see how it's possible to make it...good, at all.
