Has anyone here ever played T&C Surf Design? I remember playing the surfing part as a kid and just being completely baffled with how the hell it works, fighting with the controller, twisting around, mashing buttons, trying every possible way not to be sucked back out into the tide.

Well, it's been probably 17 years, and I still can't figure out how the FUCK to play this surfing game. Is it just totally random? The only way I ever seem to win is if I just bomb straight ahead and pray for the best.

I remember my friend playing it when I'd come over and then I'd take it out and insert Mega Man 3 without a word heh.

Ah, megaman 3...the first megaman game I owned (but not played). Definitely a classic.

I hated T&C with a passion.

I never figured out what to do in back to the future 2&3.

same with attack of the killer tomatoes.

I was never any good at California Games. Having just tried again without reading a FAQ or the manual, I still suck at it.

T&C Surf Design was such a cool game for a Wyld Stallyn like myself back in 88, but man was it frustrating. I'm pretty sure the balancing act you had to play with that silverback gorilla on a surfboard was very realistic. It was certainly as realistic as fucking balancing on a surboard for real.

I give it five whole minutes of complete and utter fun before going back to skateboarding with the crackhead in the mask.

Who cares; it was better than Skate or Die.

"Skate or Die" on the C64 was one of the greatest games of all time! Up until about a year ago, I still had a 5 1/4 disk case with a Lester sticker on it! You make Unicron cry!

no, there's legitiamtely a new skateboard game comign out on the wii.... that isn't a tony hawk game.

T&C was one of those games of which I had two copies. I love playing the skating part, especially against someone else. There are certain techniques I employ when playing keyboard that remind me of this game.

The surfing part... Who?... What?... Why? I know I once got to level 3. How? Fuck if I know.
