My brother and I were actually talking about that cat article the other day when my cat was rubbing up against my chair. Didn't notice it was one of yours. Awesome job.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm glad you enjoyed them. Yeah, I'm especially proud of the cat article because there was very little changed from my draft to the published article which is awesome. They even used all of the pictures and captions I included which they don't often do.
I have two more that are finished and waiting to hit the front page, so I'll update this when they appear.

Yep, there's one of them now, thanks Usa. That particular one was pretty difficult to write as it's kind of hard to make jokes about mental illnesses, but I think it works ok in the end. Not the smoothest prose ever though as there are some pretty heavy handed editorial edits which make it kind of bumpy, but I'm happy with the finished product.

Thanks Usa! I can always count on you to be on top of things. That one I'm proud of because it was a failed pitch someone else had that never got off the ground. They had a good idea, but couldn't make it work, so put it up for grabs. I took it and ran with it and I think the article turned out pretty well despite being a fairly dry subject.
And just so everyone knows, in my draft, I didn't claim the Aztecs or Tenochitlan were in South America. That error was added by the editors. Thanks idiots.
As a bonus, here's another one that was up last week that I neglected to shamelessly plug:
