Tonight John Tavares became only the second player in Ontario Hockey League History to reach the 200 career goal mark, doing so in fashion by scoring the over time winner against my Kitchener Rangers.

Will have to average just over a goal a game down the stretch to become the highest scoring player in league history, he can come back for a couple more seasons but the odds are he will be in the NHL next season, so even though he could easily smash the record, he may not get to.

I applaud you for making hockey threads in this forum, that being said I will most likely be the only person replying, since there is a serious lack of hockey fans around here.

Anyway, this just further solidifies his spot as the #1 draft pick this year which he locked up after the World Jr's. You should probably tell your leaf's to stop winning games if they want a shot at him at the draft.

Stupid fucks don't know when to quit. As long as the west teams keep doing well, the Leafs will at least get a lottery pick, a top 7 pick in this years draft is pretty damn good as long as they don't go off the board.

It'd be sick if they picked Brayden Schenn, Luke's younger brother. They need a good strong forward like him and then I bet it would be easy re-signing the brothers.

Well he did it with a massive game against Windsor today, the record for goals in an OHL career is 215 and counting.

My Tavares Complete Jsy is looking better already

EDIT: He was well over a point a game with the horrible Oshawa Generals, check out his stats as a Knight:

23 32 18 50. That is 32 goals and 50 points in 23 games, now Imagine if he'd started the year with the Knights, he'd probably have 70 goals or more.

Well, I can't say I watch the OHL, but congrats to him! Awesome milestone to reach. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in the NHL!

Poor bastard. Confused Maybe he'll eventually get traded. We sure could use someone like him on the Oilers. Granted we pretty well suck this year, but at least we have potential once a few more pieces fall into place.
