I like goldeneye on the N64. I heard about this mod last year, when it was practically dead. Just last week they finally updated it with the Beta3 which is probably the best remake of multi-player goldeneye yet. Granted it's still not perfect, but so far I find it to be a nice release from the rage flamers in CS or TF2. At least the LTK mode is fun and the achievements are a nice touch. Shocked

I downloaded this earlier but it didn't come with any maps or anything.

the maps are downloaded when you enter a server. from that point on, you have the maps, much like when you enter a Custom CS server.

My Steam account is DarknessDeku. I have no idea what my ping is related to Steam, but in Assault Cube I always noticed my ping is around 50-150. I don't know if it would be the same in Steam games.

It's not a ping thing at all though. There says nothing about servers or anything. I load it up and there are 4 options: new game, load game, options, and exit. In new game there is nothing, in load game there is no saved games, options is just options, and exit just exits. I may have downloaded the wrong thing. I'll make a youtube video to show you.

It looks like you didn't dowload the right Mod, it looks like the old one....
CORRECTION: Steam just fucked up the TF2SDK, so with that in mind, the developers are currently working on fixing something... another reason why I hate steam with a passion! Evil
