Sure you do, you remember Devastator, right?
This Guy, right here.
Well, some of you may have heard he's in Transformers 2, is made up of six members and is frikkin' huge. You'd think this would translate to awesome toy, right? I mean, the original Devastator was made up of six guys, each of whom turned into individual robots and had cool construction vehicle alt modes as well, he had a big gun, launching fists, etc. Pretty cool. So here in 2009 with modern technology, even more awesome, right?

He does have six members with cool vehicle modes that are pretty much updates to the originals and is roughly two feet but no individual robot modes! And he's sold as a giftset for $100. For a hundred bucks, he should very much have robot modes for his components for one. For two, he looks like a retarded monkey! Possibly, if he can stand up a little straighter and not look like he's taking a dump, he could look better. But fuck, a hundred for that? His color scheme is eye assaulting, I realize most construction vehicles these days are not neon green like G1, but c'mon. Make them all yellow or mix the colors better, he looks that corn/carrots/peas mixture of vegetables.

No, Jazz was the jive talkin', racial stereotype and thankfully he doesn't appear to be returning in 2. Wheelie is in it however and doesn't look much better, he's an RC truck that looks like Johnny 5 in robot mode, lemme see if I can find his pic...
See? Apparently, he turns Autobot at some point in the movie and is supposedly the one who finds Jetfire (who has taken the form of a Blackbird and is hiding out in the Air & Space museum) because Jetfire has a giant fucking Decepticon symbol on him that no one working in the museum ever noticed.

No, Devastator's mold has both degenerated and apparently fallen into the hands of bootleggers. You can find a knock off set with semi decent construction for real cheap.

Seeing the Arcee for Animated (http://toyfair09.asmzine.com/gallery/hasbro/hasbro-tf-press-kit/index.html (first two pics) made me feel better, I'd almost forgotten she was a car first. The Soundwave looks great too.

Yeah, I didn't much care for the first release of Animated Soundwave, but Electrostatic Soundwave will be gotten because of his Soundblaster-esque paint scheme and Ratbat.
