I was looking over some of the old NDS comics and I became painfully aware that some of them are not exactly easy to read. They are fine up through Part VI, but once I moved to the outside shots, things started to go awry. Part VII is a good example of this: all of Reagan's lines require a little effort to get through as does Kirby's text in the second panel.

    This wouldn't be a dilemma at all except for one thing: I no longer have the source photos that were used for most of the comics. In order for me to retouch these comics, I am going to have to go pixel by pixel and erase the text while simulatenously trying to recreate the background behind them and then redo the text to look better. It is going to be a lengthy project, so I don't want to do it if you guys think the comics look all right. But at the same time, I do want to try and make the site more accessible to newcomers.

For example I just redid Part IX. This one only required some very minor reshading around a few letters in the last panel.

Some of them will be a lot harder... Part VII might have to be redone with text bubbles, the way Topical And Poignant was done. Also if I were to do this, I would make the classic versions available somewhere on the site.
