Just a minor suggestion, but might we consider making the 'new post' icon color for threads and forums something a little darker (or at least maybe more contrasting?) I may be the only one with this problem, but the manila and pink blend together so much I find my eyes passing right over new stuff I want to catch. Well, not so much the threads because they bump to the top, but point still stands.
My two cents.

This website has an awesome color scheme, thanks for realizing that the internet is NOT PAPER! Also Black Green and Purple are all great colors, someone should make a Sydlexian flag.
Are you referring to the flaming topic GIF SoilderHawk?

The next version of the forums will use new icons.

Naw. Referring to this image:

I completely agree about the site color scheme being awesome. Black background is win for life. My eyes just have trouble distinguishing between those two particular icon colors. Its a minor thing really, just thought I'd throw it out there in case I wasn't the only one.
And on another note, a Sydlexia flag (or banner), especially one that links back to this site, would be awesome. I'd totally use it on the other forums I hang at.
Edit: (And thanks for the update too, GP)

Probably not. I'll probably just import these ones into the new forum theme.

But we could probably make it slightly darker.
The problem is not your eyes though. Your monitor is probably set to a high brightness level and/or low contrast level. And if you are using a flatscreen, the display is inherently brighter for some reason.

I was thinking we could model them all after your Sydapedia page's pretty pink appearance.

*facepalm*
You know, I've always had trouble distinguishing between those two colors, and spend quite a while assuming I must be slightly colorblind lol. I have fiddled around with the settings on my comp to see if it would help before, but apparently I wasn't fiddling with the right ones. I'll give it a shot. Thanks, Syd.

I wasn't planning on changing the colors, just the icon set.
The forum will look slightly different though... it is different software. But the color palette will remain the same unless Syd starts to hate it.

Um wait, different software???
My goal is to keep the forums looking as much the same as possible while adding the extra security and the new bells & whistles that the latest phpBB release provides

I'll also be installing mandatory hypno-screens into the sidebar. And oh, just you wait for my lighting cannon that I'll be putting on the homepage. All of you will be working in my uranium mines, of course, and won't be able to enjoy these new features. But fret not, as my cyborg oppression drones will be keeping you company AS YOU SLAVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AWAY FOR MY BENEFIT! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

phpBB3.x vs phpBB2.x
I wasn't trying to scare you, I swear!
I am trying like hell to retrofit the theme, was only trying to state that there will be some differences.
