After giving the wife and kids chocolate and a card and all that, I took them all to the Mountains to play in the snow. Maybe that's not a big deal where you live but I live along the coast in cali where it never ever snows except the moutain tops and across the big valley. Took them up to the sierras. It's so beautiful and yet I'm glad I don't have to shovle that shit every winter

Sounds like fun. Glad you all had a good time!
I miss the snow a lot. I spend a few years in Fairbanks (Alaska), where there's like 4-10 feet of snow on the ground six to eight months out of the year...and I wish we had that here.

Lucky, I MISS the snowing...not the snow itself, but the way it makes everything glow at night and how you can see to the end of your street block at 2 in the morning.

I like when it snows because it usually means it's not too cold outside.

I like when it snows before and during christmas/new years, after that it slowly where's on your sanity. We still have snow, I fucking hope it melts soon, I want to be able to walk outside in just a sweatshirt even, I'm sick of worrying about losing an extremity every time I walk to or from school.
