Just a warning to all, this movie sucks big time ass. It's as if a couple of dudes were watching old 80's cop movies getting high and they received a phone call telling them they had just been chosen to write a script for a new Deniro / Pacino flic. They were also told they had 45 minutes to complete said script. Seriously, this movie is so bad.

Yeah, it's not too good, but the "Infield Fly" rule speech was the coolest thing I'd heard in a while.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

I was kind of excited to hear they were working together on another film, shame though that is sounds like it turned out to be crap.

Ya know, a lot of people are actually badmouthing this movie, but when you boil it down to the essentials, I'd pay to watch a movie of DeNiro and Pacino reading their tax information.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

Word. I am sorry it's not as good at it could be, though. What a shame to waste a collaboration between those two on what sounds like a pretty lame script.

My mind saw "Word" and "Collaboration" and all I could think of was "Ice Ice Baby".

You would think so, but it is so predictable and uses so many corny cop stereotypes that I can't bear it. Also, doing taxes is one thing, a sex scene with Robert Deniro is a whole nother story.

i saw previews for this and got a bad feeling in my gut. two old doods trying to play bad ass cops didnt seem like a good idea.

only stallone (HGH) and schwarzenegger (freak of nature) can pull that off.
