The lack of articles point heavily to this
Syd also doesnt seem involved in as much threads as he use to unless they are politically motivated.
has this site became too popular for Syd's liking?

The articles are still good when posted and I like your blog Jeebus thats not the problem.
Syd just seems more annoyed than usual about alot of things(not the quote thing) just alot of little things you notice if your a regular forum poster like not commenting on certain threads when his input could be used. I feel like their are posters on this forum Syd secretly hates but wont tell them
But maybe its my imagination

I think it's just a bout of winter depression. I have like three articles I've started and haven't finished. It's been cold as balls around these parts lately. Even if I don't technically have winter depression, I find that being cold in general decreases my motivation and energy levels. It doesn't help that I am of the mindset that I should be able to walk around inside my house in a jeans and t-shirt regardless of the whether, that my room is the coldest room in the house, and that I can't effectively bring my room to the temperature that I want it to be at without turning the central thermostat up to a level that turns the rest of the house into an inferno.

I hear ya Syd...my house is 120 years old and we don't pay the astronomical furnace bill, so we use space heaters. I live on the windy East side of the house...not so awesome. And I sleep on the floor.

Also, I get sidetracked a lot. That's why the site has so many subdomains. In fact, I made two new ones today.
The first one is a collection of my motivational posters: http://despair.sydlexia.com/
The second one is a super secret project that I really want to get launched as soon as possible.

What's with the copyright date on the Despair page? I thought you made these today.

I made the page today. Some of the posters go back to 2007, when Grimmriffer started started the official Motivational Poster thread in the Internets forum, so I used that as the date.

So wait, Syd made two seasons of good articles, then decided to quit because the third was nothing but unfunny race jokes?

Winter in general just sucks. Cold weather makes everything seem like a special trip.

Aw. I like winter. But I have a pretty high tolerance for cold, and am generally seen going outside in a T-shirt until Late-November/Early-December.

Yeah, I my last job made me work outside overnight, and I was too damned poor to afford a coat. I got a lot of hot, drunk soccer moms giving me tips, so it all evens out.

Yeah, I'm not dead. Just too busy/lazy to post. But as the winter of my discontent ebbs, so does my laziness and the fullness of my schedule.

To me is this is about the normal rate that Syd usually posts. Shit I was surprised when those Are you Afraid of the Dark seasons came in such rapid fire.
