I just watched the movie "Once" on HBO. It was pretty f'n good. But better than the movie was the music, which I guess was the whole point. That Irish dude really gets into his playing and that's about all you can ask for. He's like a mix between Dave Matthews/Coldplay/U2. If that appeals to you, check it out.

Saw the movie in a classic-style theater downtown on campus last year. Loved it. Bought the album as soon as it came out.

Milhouse is right... if you dig simple music played extremely passionately, check this movie out immediately. If you want a good sample of what Glen Hansard's music is like, check out the song "Say it to Me Now." You won't be disappointed.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

My parents cream themselves over this movie. I don't want to watch it...
