Any movie that ends with a room full of naked people is fine with me.

That was the perfect ending

The girl I was with was saying wait for it (she had seen it but wanted to see it again)

Anybody with integrity want to state how the movie was outside of the ending? I am interested in seeing Jim Carrey in a comedy and this looks pretty good, but I've been fooled before.

Oh, it was good enough. Kind of like a less mean-spirited Liar Liar.

I think it was written in a boardroom where they came up with the premise and said, "Okay, everyone come back tomorrow with one funny thing for Jim Carrey to do, and we'll work it in".

Luckily, they came up with some good stuff. the "Jumper" scene had the entire theater laughing their ass off.

And no, Hacker. Don't spoil it (It's just one last joke before the end, no biggie)

It's definitely a good movie. Not the funniest I've ever seen, but the funniest I've seen in a while. Unlike all the Judd Apatow stuff, it's consistently funny throughout and doesn't have long stretches where it seems to drag. I was a little worried when I went to see it thinking it would be, essentially, a remake of "Liar, Liar", but his attitude change is well done, not the result of some magic wish, which is nice.

My only complaint is that Jim Carrey seems a little old to be hanging out with his friends (Like Hyde from "That 70's Show") and maybe a little old for the girl who plays his love interest, but that was more of a passing thought after the movie and it didn't really bother my while watching.

Overall, I'd recommend it, especially if you're a fan of Jim Carrey. Thank God he's back in comedy because as excited as I was to see his performance in "The Number 23" when that came out, the movie was total shit.

Spoiling movies is bad, especially if you want someone to watch the movie. Wait until it's been out for awhile, or out of theaters before really going into detail about a movie that's currently playing. Even then, some people like myself, hate being told what's going to happen.

You can only see a movie for the first time once.

I've actually thought about this before. So many movies I've loved but after it's over it's not goign to be as good to watch again, get Alzheimers and you can watch the same great movie everyday for the rest of your life.

Oh my god. I know you guys are joking, but shit. It runs in my family, I've seen what it does by the end, and I wouldn't wish that disease upon my worst enemy. Rolling Eyes

Your right, I see so many movie that are great there first time around but lose their magic on the second showing. Which leads me to wonder why I see people at Best Buy spending 20 bucks on a movie that has no redeming value outside of one viewing(but maybe some have never seen it and don't realize its only good for one viewing).

This movie was consistently funny as Jeebus noted and he was spot on about Carey's age being and not being a problem at the same time{I think he is pushing close to 50 now).

Carey needs to focus on these type of movies because this is where he shines, just how Sandler releases a Happy Gilmore,Waterboy or Click once a year and its funny and does well financially

The Number 23 and Spanglish were both shit, but I understand them wanting to do something different. They are both typecasted forever, but they are racking in huge amounts of money at the same time so its irrelevant to try and do serious movies.

Its suppose to represent some underlying social commentary but I remember seeing this movie in the theatres when it came out and it seemed like they were trying to force the issue of Carey as this genius of not only comedy but of life. It just didn't convey well because of the shitty script and it wasn't really Carey's fault on this one
