Me, it was sometime before and during most of last summer. My family had moved into a rental home while our new one was being built. I felt free in that house because i had my own shower my room was my room (my bro had his dresser in my room at my old house) i sat in my room all day playing steambot chronicles until my bros ps2 broke because he hardly ever turned it off. my friends lived in that area and i hung out with them every other day. it seemed like everyone was nicer and all i had was friends

1996-1998
All I did was go to my friend's house on weekends with about 5 other friends, sit around in the basement and play pool and guitar. No worries. I miss being 16.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

The summer of '89.

Got my first real NES then. At the five and dime. Played it till my fingers bled...

And I was about 5 months old. Very Happy

My happiest time was...hmm...childhood definitely...before girls and jobs and 'mental stability' were important. When I could just run around screaming the lyrics to 'The Trooper' in my backyard then go inside and play with my Star Wars figures.

Wait...I fucking do that now. Except girls and jobs and 'mental stability' do matter.

So, to answer your question...1982. I gotta go to bed.

Probably the summer of 1995, when I got my first decent PC and played adventure games till my eyes bled. I still have yet to beat Zork III, goddammit.

Also, the same year I got my first beefcake drumset, and officially started my ever going "Josh Versus Bath County Police Department Noise Ordinance.

The goal is always to make one's present the happiest moment.

I wish I could live that way. I try, but it is hard.

This thread has made me sad.

A recurring theme in my life is that I never seem to realize how happy I am until 2-3 years later. I always find myself looking back and thinking "wow.....that was a really great time."

So I guess I'm happy all the time, but never appreciate it until later. I think it's because I'm sort of a "worrier" and a "glass-half-empty" kind of thinker.....so in the present time I tend to worry about the negatives. But when looking back on the past, I don't think about the negatives as much as the positives of that time period.

I always liked lunch at high school, me and friend and just random people would talk about our day and how crappy high school was, it was good to have some moments of joy in between classes.

I can't lie: it was recieving my first blowjob from my now exgirlfriend and then mercilessly fucking the shit out of her on January 1, 2006.

However, the fun was to be short lived as sixteen days later she left me and then threatened to sue for sexual harrassment, but never did. I tell you what.

The fall of 1988 when I got my NES and 1998 because that year kicked ass and times were simpler for me. I just had school and work, I didn't have to worry about paying rent or bills.
