My brother plays stupid internet games all the time on my family's laptop and today after he used it gamevance ads started popping up on every other word on this site
like on the index the word music will appear green and if i put my mouse on it a gamevance ad pops up
i am getting rid of it using malware bytes anti malware (great for getting rid of viruses) and so far more than 20 virus have shown up
so whats your worst virus experiance?

Sasser virus, that thing made my system shutdown a few times before I got the fix for it. Either that or when my friend put BackOrifice on my Windows 95 machine and made my CD drive open up and run weird stuff. I was like ":WTF is this!" I eventually found out from one of his friends in my senior year programming class and he gave me the link to the fix. No harm was done though.

Worst personal experience:
About 10 years ago I got a virus on my computer and my debit card number was stolen.

Well, I lost my old lappy to viruses (sorta, I sacrificed it) and my old hard drive.
But I cleaned it up and had more virus than not. well over 300,000 about 1/4 through. I got scared and just smashed the screen, turned it in for insurance and swore never to get limewire again.

Ahem...
I picked up my laptop, gave the screen a quick kiss goodbye... And smashed it on the ground with all the fury of a nerd who hasn't gotten laid in a while can contain. screen is now completely obliterated... But they let me keep it. so I could just hook it up to another screen... And fix it. For shits and/or giggles.

How can I be a nerd? I once told my girlfriend to hold off on the sex because I was playing a video game and was close to beating the boss. Also, I've done quite a bit WHILE playing a video game...
