...you are aware that they reviewed different games, right?
This is a review of the arcade game. The Genesis one is different enough that I'd call it a different game.
yah, but i thought it would be interesting to discuss.
Links, pics, vids . . . I shall post these when given the chance

Syd's review made me want to play it so bad, but I have problems running MAME, and I can't find a rom of it anyway. One of the few games I can get to run in MAME is Rolling Thunder II, which is pretty boring. I think Syd's sense of humor is what makes these games seem cool, because playing them hasn't been very fun for me so far.

Feh. Moonwalker's not even the most bizarre Sega-made game featuring Michael Jackson
This video is great alone for the fact that he cites fucking Dave Chappelle.

I think Guru Larry must've read the minds of everyone here...
His review covers the Genesis game, the Arcade game, and he even mentions Michael's appearence in Space Channel 5.

The problem with MAME is that both the ROM sets and the program itself are constantly updated, so it's possibly you either have roms that are older than the MAME you have or a MAME that's older than the roms you have. Also, if you're running Windows, get MameUI. It is a lot more user friendly than regular MAME.
Syd's article made me go back to my youth, playing moonwalker at Chuckie Cheese right across from the ball pit from hell, air hockey foosball that never worked right and hungry hungry hippos... I need to see this review when I get High Speed again...
