Starting the thread now.
This thread will be a discussion of the current season. As such, it will be filled with spoilers, so if you can't be bothered to watch the episodes when they first air, you would be well advised to avoid this thread until you are fully caught up.
There was probably a Day 7 thread from before the writer's strike, but I'm starting a new one so I can open it with this disclaimer.

As I understand it, 24 stopped being good years ago. It's also airing Sunday night which is preventing me from watching my fucking cartoons.

Not a bad start to the season. Although I think the Tony flip came a little early. It's also a little bit corny that CTU is now four people in a room somewhere. Who the hell is funding their operations?

I think they had to flip Tony early, to give us a twist. Plus they wanted to give us Bill and Chloe as early as possible.
Jeebus, while S5 and S6 of 24 were subpar, S7 is shaping up to be awesome. Keifer Sutherland said the writers' strike allowed them to map out the entire season ahead of time, thus allowing it to flow better and be less "OMG what even bigger threat will we face this week?"

The next season of 24 should be Day 8, Jack's Day Off. And just show what he does for 24 hours when he's not working.
You know, waking up in bed with a hot girl he doesn't know the name of, beer for breakfast, brunch at a strp club, spending a few hours at the beach, hitting on girls at the gym and bringing a girl, more fun with a girl he doesn't know the name of... then back to work next Season.

It's getting really hard to enjoy 24 with my parents always getting pissed off at any little sound. Fuck that shit, it's a great show and everything but we don't have to be completely silent during it.
