I'm referring to this one.

My girlfriend and I watched this a couple weeks back, and we were in stitches. It's hilarious -- and in a genuinely good way. Mind you, we rented the cut-down R-rated version, not the XXX one, since that's what Hollywood Video had on the shelf.

What's amazing is that there's actually a movie here. A real, honest-to-goodness movie around all that porn. And it's a riot. The acting is honestly pretty good -- in particular, the lead dude is fantastically funny. The story was interesting. And the production value -- and EFFECTS! Apparently they sunk something like $2 million into this sucker, and the special effects and CGI are better than a lot of direct-to-video and made-for-TV fare.

And I have to give respect to any filmmakers with the cajones to do this:

Oh, there was much more money spent on this film. It's the most expensive porn ever made by a considerable margin.

Well, I'm sure it's better than Stan Lee's Lightspeed...

As for other "pornedies", the only one I've liked was the ever epic Lord of the G-Strings.

I was unimpressed with Lord of the G-Strings. I've seen a few of EI's flicks, and they really all pale compared to Spider-Babe, which they clearly put some time and effort into. EI suffers from one major flaw: with the exception of Misty Mundae, nearly all their actresses are scary-looking.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the other great classic "pornedy": Flesh Gordon.

I have not seen the 3 disc SE set sold for $60. The only store I can think of charging that much is the dreaded Suncoast, which is constantly, blatantly over priced.
