I just read Gamedaily's Top 25 Nintendo Moments List today and I must say that I agree with this list. It had a lot of great moments in there, from playing the Ocarina to discovering that Samus was a woman.
So, do you agree with this list or disagree?

They were reaching for some of this. I mean DK country in general? The dog laughing at you? Beating Mike Tyson? well yeah, beating any game was memorable... beating ninja gaiden was far more satisfying imo.
Also, the blue turtle shell is bullshit. Fuck that thing.

I agree that it is a list. Nothing more.
#25 - I thought they were singing "Be careful". Actually, I keep hearing, "You assholes", but I know that can't be right.
#22 - Bah. The best moment of SF64 is breaking through Area 6
#18 - Seriously? Cheating to beat the game is it's greatest moment? There's so many more awesome things in SMB3 than the damn warps.

#12 - OK. That was cool. SMRPG had a ton of nifty easter eggs in it.
#10 - This was one of the more interesting ways of "spellcasting" I've seen in a video game.
#7 - This here? Fucking awesome. Should be #1, and I haven't even looked at it yet.
#1 - ...yeah, #7 should have been #1. This wasn't exactly the "Luke, I am your father"-type spoiler people seem to think it is.

22. I actually agreed with their Star Fox moment. It was like playing
Independence Day without having to buy a Playstation, though Area 6 is a close
second

Some of these choices suck, and the Laughing Dog belongs on a "Most annoying" or "Least satisfying" NES moments list than this. Of course, me never being much of a Zelda fan, I thought "Link's return to maturity" was stupid, it's pretty much congratulating a series for moving to detailed graphics. Might as well put "Samus' return to reality" or "Mario's growing up" or something on it as well.

Area 6 was pretty good, but I always loved Corneria so much, despite it being the first level and cliche as a result.

Spiked Shell? Um, wasn't SMK on the SNES? Level 3-2 for inifinite 1ups? It's 3-1 moron. Has he REALLY PLAYED any of these games?

Not to mention he says you have to beat zelda then type in zelda to get second quest... it's one or the other dumbass... bypass first quest by typing in zelda, or beat the game and go.

This list is a pile of crap.
The only moment that belongs on there is the #1 choice which was a great moment in gaming history.
Let me help out with some truly great moments:
* Final Fantasy IV - The entire fucking game.
* Super Metroid - When you think you have killed Crocomire, but then he jumps back up... only he really was dead... but he scared the shit out of you!
* Final Fantasy VI - Kefka did what! Um... thats right... he did so much bad stuff that he is the worst villain. Remember when he poisoned Cyan's people? Remember when he blew up the world? Remember when he drained all those Espers? Remember when I used quick and double Quadra Slammed him twice for a Level 99 super quick kill (why bother with Quadra Slice at 99 anyways... you max at 9999 per hit no matter what)?
* Zelda Link to the Past - What the fuck! A fat Fairy!!!

Aeris death wasn't that big of a shocker. The scene itself was pretty good, but I felt myself saying "who gives a shit" too often during that game to credit it with any further acclaim.

Bullshit. I was pissed. I just sat there in disgust watching the scene. I couldn't get to the end fast enough to kick his ass. As far as it being a shocker, I never saw it coming. Tellah dying wasn't that big of a shocker. For me, this one was.

At least Tellah went out by casting Meteo. I would argue that it wasn't an unexpected move for him though. You pretty much knew it was going to happen the moment they said that him casting Meteo would kill him.
Aeris was killed by a raging emo bitch who stabbed her in slow motion. What's worse is that she was avenged by an equally annoying emo hero.
I wouldn't put this on the list.
I would however add that Lufia finding out she is Erim is pretty cool.
