That was pretty cool. And if you consider that there's a version of string theory that postulates not only ten, but 26 dimensions, that was not even half of the story.

Since you liked that video you might also like Edwin Abbott's novella Flatland, if you haven't read it already. It follows an ordinary square exploring zero- and one-dimensional worlds, but struggling to grasp the concept of space, just as we struggle to picture more than three spatial dimensions. The book is in the public domain now, so you can even read it online.

Some say that the ability to do so makes a god. I'm not much for religious beliefs, but if there is/are god(s), I see this as the most fathomable source of their power.

Suggested reading? The Planiverse. It discusses a "Factual" account of life in the second dimension. Incredibly well thought out (observed?). You just have to read it to understand what I am trying to say.
