I'm trying to get screenshots of a DOS based game, but print screen isn't performing it's usual function. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Run the game in Windows through a DOS emulator such as DOS Box that has screenshot support.

Just out of curiousity, what game are you trying to get a shot of?

Well now, that would just spoil the surprise wouldn't it? I will say that it's a somewhat obscure game from Sierra though.

Muchos Gracias for the link.

Obscure? Sierra? Sounds right up my alley. I'm sure I'll love it now.

It wouldn't be QFG...would it?

Quest For Glory isn't that obscure. Hero's Quest, the original version of QFG, is kind of obscure. But my guess is either Willy Beamish or Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist.

Ah Sierra, I loved those games. Still need to get my hands on a talkie version of Freddy Pharkas.

Goddamn you, Ecoquest. I beat it once then was trying to go through getting all the points possible, which is hard in any Sierra game. Anyway, I started to do something but realized I didn't have the item you need for it, so I went back to go get it. After that, any time I tried to go back where I was going the game would crash because you're not supposed to go there more than once. Damn you! (For anyone who's wondering and has played the game, I started swimming to the surface without having the cage or whatever you put around the motor on the motorboat. Oops Embarrassed

The answer to Murdar's question is out there somewhere, if you can find it.
Muahahaha.

Oh fine. The answer is Mixed-Up Mother Goose. I won't be a bastard. I'll leave reading the article as optional.

A game I was trying to find the other day. I give you credit for reading my mind. Now stop it Wink

If you find "Operation Neptune" as well, let me know. Or something called "Gertrude" involving giant worms.
